INDIANS TRAVEL TO BROOKSTONE FOR 1ST ROUND OF STATE PLAYOFFS |

> The Irwin County Indians met one of thier season goals last week when they earned a trip to the state playoffs. beating the Telfair County Trojans 17-8 in the Region playoffs. the Indians finished the regular season with a 7-3 record and will be the 4th seed from Region 2. The Indian will face the #1 seed from Region 4 in the Brookstone Cougars. The Cougars of Coach Blair Harrrison are 9-1 on the year, with their only loss of the year coming against the Dooly County Bobcats, 34-14. The Indians are familiar with the Bobcats, having also lost to them 22-14 during the regular season.

The Irwin County Indians, under the guidance of new head coach John Gamble are returning to the Georgia High School State playoffs this week, after a 17-8 victory over the Telfair County Trojans last week. The Indians will go into the state playoffs as the #4 seed from Region 2. |
